HI
I had a Problem using {cptags} inside the JDownloads Component with the new 2.0 cptags plugin. when i use my modified old 1.98 version of the plugin, it still works! (even with component 2.0!)

I had try to do the modifications myself but i was not able to, and i dont know why.
Please help me to do the modifications and the best wold be to include it to your component/plugin and made it usable for everyone.

There are 3 steps necessary, for use cptags with JDownloads:

1. install contentelement for jdownloads.xml (see attached file)

2. install jdownloads, ( www.jdownloads.com/index.php?option=com_...iewcategory&catid=24 )
after that go to Components>JDownloads and change:
inside Configuration>Frontend
set "Activate support for all Joomla content plugins?" to Yes,
inside Layout administration>Download-Details>your_active_layout
add {cptags} to your Layout e.g. after {report_link}

3. modify your cptags plugin (see attached file, it works, but it is from old Version) here i need help to let it works again with the new Version.

After that you can Tag the Downloads. And you can see the applied tags on the Detail-Site.

File Attachment:

File Name: jdownload_cptags.zip
File Size:3 KB

PS: on your Site www.solidsystem.it/demo1520/en/login.html the link to the adminpanel is wrong
klick link to www.solidsystem.it/demo155/administrator/ (instead of the visible www.solidsystem.it/demo1520/administrator )

Thanks for taking (quite) some time to develop a new content element connector and to debug the plugin. We'll be investigating the issue you are reporting and keep you informed about our findings.

We found that jDownloads does no pass the article id to the onContentPrepare event. It only pass the rendered text. That's fine for content plugins such as emailcloack that only need to modify the text, but for CP it is insufficient. In fact CP to retrieve all tags assigned to the given article needs the article id.
On the other hand the jdownload content element you kindly provided works fine: you can tag jdownload documents and retrieve them with any CP module.
