Can I use existing core Joomla tags? was created by rowby
Hello
I have a bunch of joomla 3.3 articles which are already tagged using the core Joomla tagging feature.
Is there a way to list all of my articles and then assign one or more existing Joomla core tags to multiple articles.
I guess I should read the documentation closer, but I think all tags must be created in Custom Properties.
Or am I just confused?
Thanks

Joomla core tags and Custom Properties tags are two separated entities.
As you correctly guessed, you first need to create Custom Properties tags and then you can assign them to articles.
Here you find a quaick tutorial, written for the J1.5 version but that is mostrly valid for the J3.x series:
solidsystem.it/custom-properties-usage-and-features.html
