Chrome user agent overriding my css for CP

Hi,

I need some help with Google chrome user agent overriding my css for Custom Properties. I have changed the background of the inputbox and it looks great in FF but back to standard in Chrome. The interesting part is that it works just fine with the search input box but not with the CP inputbox Could you please help me figure this one out as it's driving me nuts. Plus I can't handover a site like that...

IMPORTANT!!!: before trying to solve the problem, I need to know if CP is compatible or if there is a way to make it compatible with VIRTUEMART?

With Virtuemart - J15 version - the compatibility was not very good, thus the content element connector has not been released.

assign tags: yes
search : yes
image preview: yes
plugin works: no (i.e. you can't see CPTags when displaying VM Items)
support archived state: no

Compatibility tests against VM2 has not been carried out yet.

About the formatting issue, that's a Goggle Chrome inconsistency. When I asked my friend Google about that, he pointed me to this page:

thank you for the answer. But I'm more interested in J2.5.x with VM2.0.10 because I couldn't find the products in the CP Assign Custom properties panel. Do I have to tag them through the VM product editor?

As for the webkit solution, I will test it right away.

EDIT: the webkit hack does the trick

The content element connector has been made and tested but never released to the public.

I guess you are using VM2, aren't you?
If so, the relevant content element connector has yet to be written and *tested*. That could take several days, because of our current workload.

If you can't wait, you could try "coding" it yourself:

Website config is j2.5.7, VM 2.0.12b and CP 2.3. Thank you for the help, I really appreciate it. I will try to code it myself, but as I am more of a designer than a programer, I would kindly ask you if you could try and write it once you will have some free time. I don't mind the wait as I know myself and the customers would be very happy if this connection could work.
