Bind Custom Properties Search to a CP field? was created by metropolska
I am trying to create two different CP search modules bound to different CP fields. Is this possible and if yes, please advise on a method. Thanks!

It's doable.
You have a good example here:
www.solidsystem.it/demo1720
There are 3 modules:
- a comprehensive one with all fields
- a search module only for food (under the food menu)
- a search module only for wine (under wine menu)
In short:
- create 2 Custom Properties Search modules (e.g. search wine, search food)
- create as many CP fields as you need
- assign some fields to a module and other fields to other module, by means of the 'Modules' param in Field edit window
(optional) You can also restrict the scope of the search of a CP search module, with the dedicated parameter within the module itself.
This additional step is useful if you have some tags (e.g. Price) that applies to both your set of articles (Wine, Food).
You would want the Food search module to search 'Price' only inside Food-articles.
