Language Problem

Hi,

i use joomla 2.5 in german. after installing the costum properties install pack the config didn't show the german labels and descriptions. i can only see the code for example "LBL_RESULTS_PER_PAGE or DESC_RESULTS_PER_PAGE". if i switch the backend language to english everything is ok. but i didn't want a english backend.

what did i wrong? How can i fix it?

Can't tell what happened.
Anyway the result is that the German language files for CP have not bee copied to their place.

Copy the following two files in language/de-DE




(*** conflicting attachment names, please rename this ^^ file to de-DE.com_customproperties.ini, after you copied in the right place ***)


and these two files into administrator/language/de-DE

Thank you for the files. But unfortunately it didn't change anything.
The files are already in the named folders after installing. After overwriting them nothing changed.

I already installed a new joomla 2.5 version with custom properties. But the same here.

To work with this component i changed the admin language to english. That helped me for a while. But is not what i want. I don't understand that the site language works fine in german.

Any other idea what i can do?

Could you please let us have (by email) the address of your site? That would help the troubleshooting process.

i have the same problem with joomla 1.7

if i switch the backend in english, it's okay, if i switch to german language, then i see the code 'LBL_NAME' ...

the german files are in the folder language/de...

but i can't show you the page, it is on local server.

what can i do?
