Looking at your site I gather that you chose the native Joomla multi-language system (instead of Falang).
I see that you have a search module for each language.
You should now create those Custom Properties tags in English to be assigned only to the English search module.
E.g.
ITA: Tipo azienda => [Albergo, Ristorante, ...]
ENG: Company type => [Hotel, Restaurant, ...]
You will then tag English article with English tags and Italian articles with Italian tags.
-- Note --
I understand that you put quite an effort to setup the multilingual system the way it is now.
May I suggest you to give a second thought to the "Falang" approach?
If you plan to have each and every article, menu item, module, tag translated into English, I think the "Falang way" is better, especially from a maintenance point of view.
For instance, you only have to assign tags once, to the original article. When you switch language, Falang will show the translation (you entered) and the translated tags too.
Tha is better than having to write two articles and assign tags to each of them.
On the other hand, you plan to have some article/menu item/module only in Italian and some other articles only in English, Falang is not for you.

About Falang & Custom Properties
If you install Falang after Custom Properties you need to use Extensions > Custom Properties > Utilities > Install Falang Content elements to be able CP fields and values.
Falang also requires certain plugins (as in Joomla's own language plugins) to be enalbed.
See here:
