I created Custom Properties Layout menu item and assign chosen modules in Module Assignment section. This works fine and all modules are displayed as selected.
However, when I click on an article in this menu item, not the same modules are displayed. How can I apply the same module assignment settings to each article listed in Custom Properties Layout?
You can try this:
Set parameter 'Use Itemid' in Custom Properties > Options > Results Formatting to 'Current Page'. The default setting is None.
Whether it works or not depends on SEF optimizazion. More often than not SEF components remove/ignore forcefully added ItemIds.
The proper way to have modules assigned to articles is to have actual menu items pointing to those articles. For instance, you can add menu items (hidden ones work too) that point to the articles' categories, and assign modules to those menu items.
You might also consider using dedicated plugins to asign modules (i.e. advanced module manager)
