Showing Module when using Drop Down Articles

I have a module assigned to an article via a hidden menu so that module only shows when that article is viewed. Visiting the hidden menu item directly or clicking on the article when it appears in custom properties search results works great.

The problem is when using Drop Down Articles and when those articles are assigned to display within the specific page using Force (Use Item ID) and Force Item ##, the module doesn't show.

Is there a way to display the cmodule assigned to the hidden menu item when access via Drop Down Articles?

Drop Down Articles appends the Item id to the URL in a very explicit way, when "Use Item id" is set to Yes and the "Item id" is set. That is a very reliable way to point to a specific menu item and to display the modules associated to it.
In fact I've not been able to replicate the issue you are reporting. I
