Sorting results - bug - category limitation ignore

I have found a bug which I can reproduce on your demo system. Using sorting field on the search results has a problem - it executes the search request but ignores the original category limitation of this module - new result is built from all categories.

Hot to reproduce
1. go to demo31.solidsystem.it/index.php/en/wine
2. using module on the right execute any selection (e.g. select "Low price")
3. you will get search result from category Wine (5 elements)
4. Now change the selection of sorting field on the top to any value
5. you will get "Low price" result but from all categories (number of hits increase to 11 elements)

Kindly asking to check the problem on your side and provide a fix to solve this bug.

Problem confirmed. We'll release a new version of Custom Properties very soon to fix it.

We are currently testing the new version of CP that fixes the issue reported here.
We should be releasing tomorrow.

We just released Custom Properties 3.1.18, that fixes this issue.

We just finished updating our demo site for Custom Properties 3.x ( demo31.solidsystem.it ).
It is now based on Joomla 3.4.8 and Custom Properties 3.1.18.

The problem you reported in the opening post is no longer occurring with the current setup.

The only reasonable explanation for the problem still occuring on your installation is that you may be using a template override for the CP search view.
If that's the case, please be aware that - although most modifications have been done to the core code - there's a modification between lines 72-84 in file components/com_customproperties/views/search/tmpl/default.php that need to be ported to the override too.
