CP layout page was created by Djinnjo
Hi,
I've a problem with the layout of CP pages when using CPmodules.
Could someone tell me how to control this layout ?
Details:
My home page is à CP item menu.
I'use CP cloud modules, displayed in blog-category pages.
When I click on a tag in one of those modules, everything is working fine but some parameters of my home page menu item apply on the resulting page ...
I created one other CP menu item but it does't affect the layout used when I click on a tag of CP modules.
Thankx.

These kind problems are not easy to troubleshoot without actually looking at the website.

OK, I changed my home page menu item and use CPmodule to have a similar result.
Then I created à new CP menu item and affected à template to it for controlling the display of CP component pages.
It's OK.
Thnks.

Thanks for clarifying the issue.
The most common approach for a predictable behaviour is the following (which in part resembles the one you set up):
- Create a new menu.
- Let's call it "hidden"
- Add a menu item of type Custom Properties view = default.
- Name it with something meaningful, because it will show up in the URL (eg "advanced search")
- Save and take note of the Itemid of that menu item.
- Edit the cpmenu module (or the cpcloud module, or the cpsearch module)
- Set the Itemid param to the previously noted Itemid
- Assign the modules to two pages : the one you want to search from, and the new "advanced search" page
