About htaccess:
I can confirm that Product Finder works with the htaccess included with the standard Joomla release. So, if htaccess is responsible, the problem should be blamed on some customized statements.
Interesting observation:
while looking at your site I noticed one thing that behaves differently that all the other sites I'm comparing your site with: the <base> tag in the <head> section.
For some reasons on your site <base href="..."> has always the same href, *regadless* of the page you are visting, as if it was hardcoded.
I can tell in other Joomla sites the 'href' value changes according to the actual url of the page.

OK, I see. I've had a look at my htaccess and can find some possible reasons, but I'm not sure about this. Is it possible that I send you the file via pm or another way so that you could have a look at it? Would be great!
