is Custom Properties 2.0 compatible with Joomla 2.5?

Custom Properties 2.0 for J1.7 installs under Joomla 2.5.x*, but it's not fully compatible. We found some issues while testing.
A version of Custom Properties compatibile with both J1.7 and J2.5 will be released in the coming weeks.

* you might want to install Joomla 2.5.1 instead, because 2.5.0 has problems
