2.5.1. issues: nothing works.

After installing of the latest installing package (install_customproperties_2.1_j16_build100) at J!2.5.1 i get following bugs:

I installed content element "content_25". The installed content element file is after installation in the /administrator/components/com_customproperties/contentelements, its ok, and it is for 2.5.1, i opened it..

But in the configurations of component, modules and menu item, which i created for "custom properties" there is no content element to select (only "not installed"-option is there).

And, sure, nothing works:) I see only {cptags} in content and "tags not found" in the module place.

Beside of this, component configuration don't let bind it to categories: after choosing of categorie and saving the choosen option is not choosen again.

But keep calm, there are only growing pains;) cp is still the best.

After an inspection to your installation, her's my findings:

1) there are no third party content elements to be handled by Custom Properties. Hence only the default Joomla 2.5 content element need to be active (you can leave the right column in 'Manage Content Elements' empty).
Because there's only *one* content element active, you are not given the possiblity to choose which content element to use. That's why you read 'not installed'

2) tags not found in cpcloud:
you bound that module to a category whose articles so far have no tags assigned. Therefore Custom Properties does not find any tag assigned to those article and righeously writes: 'tags not found'

3) problem with cp_menu same as 2). Solution: assign tags to articles in selected categories

4) "after choosing of categorie and saving the choosen option is not choosen again." :
I thinks the problem comes from a different setting in PHP variable: magic_quotes_gpc. I need to make some test in our dev environment to confirm this possible bug.

thanks, but one issue remains: i still see only {cptags} and not the tags in detail view (plugin setting: not only in detail view)
I have setted plugin to "custom". And if iset it to bottom, i see in both category view AND detail view in place of tags only {cptags}...

Your site has several plugins and components effecting the article and CP gets somehow "confused". We are already working to make CP more tolerant and resilient to these complex setups.
